    The Automotive  Dispatcher-Production Manager plans, organizes, leads, and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to customers. We deliver the highest quality service while maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.


    The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, Automotive Dispatcher-Production Manager experience in Dealership Service Department.  An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.  He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

    • Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system.
    • Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required.
    • Logging out and keeping track of special tools that get used by technicians.
    • Reviews repair orders turned in by Service Technicians to ensure accuracy of work completed.
    • Ensures that technicians follow warranty procedures.
    • Ensures that required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
    • Monitor technicians to ensure shop is staying busy and productive. 
    • Track special order parts to ensure vehicle gets worked on when parts arrive.
    • Quality Control (QC) vehicles when needed from Shop Foreman.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    • Must have Dealership Service Department experience (BMW preferred).
    • Ability to distribute work to Service Technician in a fair manner according to their skill level.
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
    • Knowledge of Special Tools handling.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
    • Experience with CDK/ADP a PLUS!
    • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
    • Professional appearance and work ethic.
    • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
