  • Overview

    Loan Car Representative greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner.  This person assists customers with their loaner car needs.  In addition, this person works all departments to ensure our customers experience is pleasant and smooth transition to get their vehicle returned to them in a timely manner.  In addition, he or she performs clerical and administrative duties which includes legal documentation and management reports.


    The ideal candidate has some previous experience in a similar position (loaner car representative, customer service, call center, etc.), and a working knowledge of automotive sales/service.  He or she must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Meet and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Manage the mobility fleet inventory.
    • Improve the efficiency of vehicle utilization - reducing or increasing fleet size.
    • Ensure customer experience is a pleasant one in providing them with alternate transportation when necessary.
    • Manage support personnel including Mobility Associates, Valets, and Clean Up Staff. 
    • Manage Shuttle Program to ensure customers are receiving premium transportation experience.
    • Work with new and Used Sales departments to ensure proper fleet turnover, reducing reconditioning expenses.
    • Ensure all legal documentation compliance such as motor vehicle registrations and tags, insurance, contract content, etc.
    • Determine what/when mobility vehicles need to be removed or retailed from fleet.
    • Review and analyze management reports and implement action plans as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Communicates: A) Length of Loan (LOL) and provide solutions to help reduce high (LOL), B) Reasons for extensions on units not returning on time, C) Manage overdue units, D) Manage processes for effective insurance claim.

    • Ability to work cooperatively with Sales, Service and Parts Personnel.
    • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Service or hospitality industry experience a PLUS!
    • Bilingual a PLUS!
